St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls is pleased to announce the scholarship testing program for entry in 2020.
As Western Australia’s Independent Girls’ Schools of Distinction, St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls, Methodist Ladies’ College, Penrhos College, Perth College, Presbyterian Ladies’ College and St Mary's Anglican Girls’ School, have collaborated to refine processes for all 2020 applicants.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Please complete the application process by clicking on the relevant link below. Deadline for completion is on Friday 22 March 2019. The girls will sit the examination on Saturday 6 April 2019.
It is important for parents to understand that scholarship applicants will be limited to two school preferences and students will sit the examination at the school, which is their nominated first preference. This is critical to the program’s overall success: that is, to increase the likelihood of being offered a place at St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls, parents must list us as their first preference school and daughters will sit the examination on our campus.
Kindly note that for boarding or overseas families located 400km or more away, alternative arrangements may be organised. If you wish for this to occur, please register using the remote scholarship application link (Scholarship applications Years 7, 10 and 11 2020 - sitting the exam in a remote location).
SELECTION PROCESS
Once the scholarship testing is complete, no contact by cooperative schools will be entered into with applicants prior to 10.00 am on Monday 6 May 2019.
Prospective scholarship recipients invited to interview will be contacted by the school to arrange an appointment which will be conducted on Monday 13 Maytill Friday 24 May 2019.
Scholarship recipients must respond in writing to the Principal by no later than noon Friday 14 June 2019. No response by that time will indicate a non-acceptance of the offer. If a family wishes to decline a scholarship, contact with their second preference school is to be no earlier than when the commencement of second round offers may begin, which is Monday 17 June 2019.
If a family contacts St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls or any other school outside the specified timeframe, this will be considered a breach of protocol and consequences, such as the offer being rescinded, may result.
Should you have any queries about the scholarship application process please contactour Director of Enrolments, Kate Parker on 08 9285 4100 or email kate.parker@sthildas.wa.edu.au
If you do decide to select two preference schools, a separate paid application must be made to both the first and second preference schools. Students MUST sit the examination at the school of their first choice. Results will be forwarded ONLY to those schools to which a separate paid application has been made.
For subsequent application to a second school, you should re-enter the system using Option 1 - Previously registered.
