Kambrya College’s selective entry test is hard. If your child has an upcoming selective entry test at Kambrya College Bemersyde Dr, Berwick, 3806 Victoria, http://www.kambryacollege.com/seal/ or plan to sit one in the near future, it’s important that you prepare now with practice test questions and papers so that your child is prepared and confident to do their best.
The last thing you want is for your child to panic on the day when they face questions that they’ve never seen before.
The selective entry test itself is written by Edutest as part of their Select Entry Accelerated Learning (SEAL) Program.
Because of the huge financial incentives involved (usually in the 1,000s of dollars saved) and the number of test questions (students usually need to answer every questions in 60 seconds or less) - it is a seriously competitive test that makes children anxious and parents worried.
So when should you start test preparation?
It depends on your child’s current level. We have prepared students from 1 to 12+ months before the exam.
It is not uncommon for many students to prepare more than 12 months ahead of the exam. It is a test after all and one that is high stakes.
The selective entry exam is the hardest hurdle to pass and preparing will mean that your child will be less stressed on the day from seeing a whole bunch of questions they’ve never seen before.
So what should your child be studying to prepare for the test and what is the test format?
The test varies and some schools set their own test. The information below about test preparation is provided for general information at the Year 7 entry level and your test may differ. It’s important to confirm that actual components of the test with your school.
