EXAMPLE 1

The urban sprawl is when land gets further developed for residential use however; this is no longer just constrained inland but to coastal regions. Australia is a land rich in unique natural features, among the most prized are our spectacular beaches. The coastal sprawl is growing and with it, it brings more homes outside of the city but it requires land. Do you think the government should implement measures to stop the coastal suburban sprawl?

No the government should implement measures to stop the coastal suburban sprawl. Australia is well known for its land rich in unique natural features, among the most prized spectacular beaches. So why should we develop residential use near coastal regions?

Beaches are one of our most well known attractions in Australia, known for pure water and soft sand. We have extrodinary marine animals living in and on our beaches. Urban sprawl should not happen on coastal areas because it will effect our beaches. Rubbish from locals would go onto the beaches changing the once beautiful ocean into devestating contaminated water. People usually do not tend to look after the beach and if more people live on coastal areas the more rubbish there is going to be. Not only this but our marine animals like turtles, jelly fish, fish, crabs will also be effected by the pollution people cause!

Australia is vunerable to tsunamis because of other countries near us like New Zealand and Indonesia. If residents who live close to the beaches have a likely chance of not surviving. This is for the safety of our country, to make sure no gets hurt. If people build houses and live on coastal regions there is a ......

In conclusion, further development for residential use should be only constrained inland not to coastal regions as well, because it will effect our beautiful beaches by polluting the air and harming marine animals and we are vunerable to tsunami, so those who are near coastal regions are at a high risk of a tsunami occuring.

EXAMPLE 2

Social networking platforms like twitter and Facebook allow individuals to share and connect with one another. However, it is often the case that otherwise 'normal' people can make nasty comments. This is called trolling. The darker side of trolling is that it often targets very vulnerable people with harmful and fatal consequences as shown on the news. Should there be a law where someone who trolls can be charged criminally? Argue your case.

Yes, the government should make a law about trolling to punish people who target vulnerable people and can result in death and suicide. I personally use Facebook to communicate to my family and friends overseas. This is the cheapest way to keep in touchto. However, some people are mis-using networking sites which is abusing other people's dignity. It is disguising to make nasty comments online where everyone is able to see.

We always hear on the news about people who are victims of bullying specially the young kids. As a result, they took their own lives because they could handle the embarrassment that the trolling caused.

So everyone should be responsible whatever comments you write on the networking sites. And then people will think carefully what they are going to write. If the government has law about this, it is more likely it would decrease the fatality and make a difference to the vulnerable people.
